We proudly run workshops and courses in a variety of community venues, and also operate our own dedicated training spaces at Wrexham Heritage Works and Denbigh Traditional Skills Workshop.

 

As well as offering free public courses, we also host and deliver workshops and events for schools, businesses and commercial organisations. So, whether you’re developing your career, boosting your team or growing your own confidence, we’re here to help you learn in bold, brilliant and meaningful ways.

Laura

 

Laura's background is in alternative education and she is passionate about developing projects to support people of all ages to realise their potential and lead fulfilling lives.

 

Laura's expertise is built through her role as strategic lead for several work-based learning areas across North Wales. She has a particular interest in the role education play in supporting young people and adults into employment. Laura practices what she preaches and has a Masters in Education Leadership.

 

Her ability to see potential and create solutions seemingly from nowhere is matched only by her drive to create positive opportunities and new ways of tackling issues.

 

Laura's the driving force of The Little Learning Company and brings imaginations to life!

Rebekah

 

Rebekah's 18 years of expertise in supporting the childcare sector spans work with private, public and third sector organisations. As a recognised sector expert, Rebekah advises UK Government on sector issues and developments.

 

Rebekah is a former LA strategic lead for childcare, is a specialist in children's play and runs a successful childcare consultancy business.

 

As a trainer, speaker and sought after success coach, Rebekah focuses on ensuring the delivery of all our training, development and qualifications are outstanding for every learner.

 

As a passionate advocate for inclusion, quality and everyday playfulness, Rebekah brings bold ambition to Little Learning Company, always asking us to be bold and ask 'what if...?'

 

Another to practice what she preaches, Rebekah sits on the Editorial Board for the International Journal of Playwork Practice, supporting practitioners to become published authors!

Alex Wright

 

Alex is The Little Learning Company Manager and oversees all aspects of the company.

 

Alex’s main background is Sport Development in Educational settings and across communities. Alex’s skills are creating innovative ways to engage young people and adults to participate in activities to improve their confidence and self-esteem.

 

She aims to support people to improve their overall health and wellbeing and provide opportunities to support and guide them on their lifelong learning journeys.

Michelle Wright

Michelle is the Heritage Skills Engagement Officer working on this new, exciting project.

 

Michelle has a background in adult community learning and family learning. She has many years' experience of working across the education sector.

 

Her main focus is striving to connect the best learning experiences for learners of all ages, with providers and partner organisations across our communities.

Rhiannon is the newly appointed Manager for Wrexham, leading an exciting new project with a strong focus on growth and opportunity. 

 

With a professional background in both education and recruitment, she excels in organisation and in creating environments where learners can thrive.

 

Passionate about development and inclusion, Rhiannon is dedicated to ensuring that everyone in Wrexham has the opportunity to learn new skills and broaden their prospects.
